4. Registering An Account

To create an account with Parklands Pharmacy, you must be 16 years or older. The information you provide during registration must be accurate and kept up to date. You agree to notify us immediately if your details change.

5. Formation Of Contract

Once you place an order, you’ll receive an email acknowledging your request. This acknowledgement does not confirm acceptance of your order. The order will only be accepted once we send an email confirming that your items or services have been dispatched or approved (the Dispatch Confirmation). A contract between you and Parklands Pharmacy (the Contract) is created only at that point.

The Contract applies only to items listed in the Dispatch Confirmation. If we are unable to fulfil part or all of your order, we will inform you promptly and issue a refund for any unavailable items.

6. Products And Suitability

Purchasing a product from our website does not imply that it is safe or suitable for your individual use. You are advised to seek professional medical or pharmaceutical guidance before purchasing or using any medical or health product.

Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Parklands Pharmacy accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, or adverse effects resulting from misuse, failure to follow product guidelines, or unsuitability for your personal circumstances.

7. Delivery And Availability

Orders will be fulfilled as soon as possible once payment has been received. If no estimated delivery date is specified, products will normally be dispatched within 30 days, except in exceptional circumstances.

Certain items must be stored at controlled temperatures (typically between 2°C and 8°C). Such products are packaged appropriately for up to 72 hours in transit. If delayed beyond that timeframe, please refer to the manufacturer’s leaflet for guidance on storage and safety.

If you place an order for delivery outside the UK, you confirm that local regulations allow the import of that item. You are responsible for any import restrictions, taxes, or legal requirements in your country. Parklands Pharmacy operates strictly under UK law.

8. Your Rights Under Data Protection Law

Once your products have been delivered, responsibility for them passes to you.

Ownership of the products transfers only when full payment, including delivery charges, has been received.

9. Risk And Ownership

All prices shown on our website are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Prices may include consultation and dispensing fees if stated.

Delivery fees are listed separately and added to your total before checkout.

Prices may change without prior notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

If a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order.

We are not obliged to sell an item at an incorrect price if the error was clear and could have been recognised as such.

Payment must be made at the time of ordering using an accepted payment method (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, or bank transfer). Orders may be delayed or cancelled if payment authorisation fails.

If you order from outside the UK, you are responsible for any applicable taxes or customs charges.

10.Return and Cancellations

Prescription and Medical Items

For safety and legal reasons, prescription and medical products (including non-prescription medicines) cannot be returned. Please dispose of unwanted medicines safely at your local pharmacy.

Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:

  • The item arrived damaged or defective;
  • The wrong product was supplied; or
  • We made an error when processing your order.

Evidence such as a photo of the damaged or incorrect product may be requested. Unless agreed otherwise, return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Order Cancellations

You can cancel your prescription order until it has been approved by a clinician. After approval, cancellations are not possible.

For cancellations, please email info@parklandspharmacy.com. Non-prescription orders can be cancelled following our general returns procedure.

Non-Medical Product Returns

You have up to 7 days from receipt to request a return for non-medical items, provided they are unopened, unused, and in resaleable condition. This does not apply to sealed or hygiene-sensitive products unless they were faulty, damaged, or sent in error.

Refunds are processed via your original payment method within 4–5 working days once approved.

11. Liability

We guarantee that products supplied by us will be of satisfactory quality.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question.

This does not exclude or limit liability for:

  • Death or injury caused by negligence;
  • Fraud or misrepresentation; or
  • Any matter that cannot be lawfully excluded.

We will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, profit, or data.

12. Communication

You agree that all communications between us may be conducted electronically. We may contact you via email or post information on our website. Such electronic communication satisfies any legal requirement for written notice.

13. Notice

14. Transfer of Rights

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under this Contract without our prior written consent. We may transfer or subcontract our obligations at any time.

15. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, transport disruptions, natural disasters, power failures, or government restrictions.

16. Waiver

Our decision not to enforce any part of these Terms at any time does not prevent us from enforcing that or any other part in the future.

17. Severability

If any section of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and Parklands Pharmacy regarding our services and replace all previous discussions or communications.

19. Changes of These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order will apply unless the change is required by law or regulation

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any contracts formed under them are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

21. Medical Information

Certain services or products may require you to provide medical information. You must ensure the information you provide is complete and accurate. If you are unsure about what to provide, please contact info@parklandspharmacy.com before submitting your order.

Parklands Pharmacy cannot accept responsibility for decisions made based on incomplete or inaccurate information.

22. Identity Verification

Some orders may require verification of your identity. By using our services, you authorise Parklands Pharmacy to carry out ID checks using a third-party provider ([Name of verification provider]).

23. Access To Medical Records

If you are based in England or Wales, our clinicians may need access to your Summary Care Records to confirm the suitability of certain prescription treatments.

Where relevant, we may need to contact your GP for additional information. You may decline, but this may result in your order being delayed or cancelled.
